elementor-size-default\">About the RENEW Study<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7df98c7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7df98c7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RENEW<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Study is evaluating an investigational study drug to see if it may safely and effectively reduce the need for blood transfusions due to myelodysplastic neoplasms\/syndromes (MDS)-related anaemia.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This trial has at least 20 visits, some of which may be done from home.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the trial, you will have a 2 in 3 (67%) chance of receiving the active study drug and a 1 in 3 (33%) chance of receiving a placebo. A placebo is an inactive material that looks like the study drug but does not contain any active study drug.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The study drug is expected to block a protein in the blood that interferes with your body\u2019s ability to make red blood cells.
